Sheikh Ghassan Manasra, Co-director of The Abrahamic Reunion, is a Muslim peacemaker. He is part of a group of spiritual and religious leaders dedicated to uplifting human consciousness and building peace in the Holy Land by opening hearts to the love and wisdom of all spiritual traditions. Ghassan, a Fulbright scholar, has lectured internationally and has received multiple awards and accolades for his peacemaking, including most recently the 2014 “Outstanding Leader in Interreligious Dialogue Award.” Rabbi Gadi and Project-Genesis have worked widely with Sheikh Manasra. Along with Dr. Don Russo they had the honor of sharing a podium

with him here in Orient, N.Y.

Sheikh Ghassan is the son of Sheikh Abdel Salaam Manasra – head of the Qadiri Sufi Order in the Holy Land. He is the founder of Anwar-Il-Salaam, the Lights of Peace Center in Nazareth, and is the Director of the Islamic Cultural Center in Nazareth. Ghassan is an expert and lectures in Islam, Islamic history, Sufism, and contemporary Muslim issues in the Middle East, Europe, and the USA.
