Rev. Fr. Dr. Abraham Malkhasyan was born in Yerevan, Armenia, enrolling at the Sts. James Seminary of the Armenian Patriarchate of Jerusalem in 1992.
He then continued his studies at the Gevorkian Theological Seminary of Holy Etchmiadzin, where he was ordained to the diaconate by Bishop Sion Adamyan.
In 2006, by the order of His Holiness Karekin II, the Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, he traveled abroad to study at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN.
While studying in Minnesota he was involved in the pastoral life of the Armenian community
at St. Sahag Church.
Fr. Malkhasyan is serving as pastor of the Armenian Church of the Holy Martyrs in Bayside, NY.
