This month our Jewish brothers and sisters will observe their High Holidays,

the most solemn days on the Jewish calendar.

Judaism greets its new year not with noisemakers, loud music and raucous behavior but with serious introspection, prayer and self-evaluation.

Rosh HaShanah, the new year, begins a ten-day period of repentance,

culminating in Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement.

Join us on Sunday, September 10 as we discuss the structure and meaning of these important days and the implications they might have for us in our daily lives.
