  • 11 days sightseeing in a luxury touring minibus
  • Native English speaking licensed tour guide from arrival till departure
  • One group arrival and departure transfer from/ to airport on Nov. 7 and Nov. 17 (optional, see itinerary Day 1)
  • Entrance fees as per itinerary
  • 10 breakfasts, 1 lunch (November 12), 9 dinners (except on November 8th & 12th)

SAMPLE DAILY ITINERARY

Day 1 | Nov 6: Depart US

  • Please book yourself or ask the office to book you on the following flight:
    • El Al – #008 Depart JFK on November 6th at 11:50 PM.
    • Landing at Ben Gurion the next day at 5:10 PM
  • The return flight will be El Al #001 departing Tel Aviv at 12:45 AM on November 18th landing back in New York at 5:45 AM.
  • If you book yourself on a different flight that day, please try to arrive before the flight above so you can still have the option of waiting for the group pick-up from the airport. Otherwise, please arrange to meet us at the hotel in Tel Aviv.

Day 2 | Nov 7: Arrive Tel Aviv

  • Arrival at Ben Gurion International Airport.
  • Bus drive through Tel Aviv on the way to the hotel.
  • Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Tel Aviv.

Day 3 | Nov 8: Tel Aviv

  • Independence Hall where the Declaration of Independence was signed.
  • Bus tour introducing the Hebrew architecture in Tel Aviv.
  • Lunch on your own at Shuk HaCarmel (Carmel Market), one of the most famous markets in Israel.
  • Spend time on Dizengoff Street: One of the city’s most iconic streets. Rabin’s Square.
  • Museum of the Jewish People – ANU Exhibition at Tel Aviv University

Day 4 | Nov 9: Galilee and Golan Heights

  • Drive up along the Mediterranean coast to ancient Caesarea.
  • Atlit Detainee Camp Museum where many legal and illegal Jewish immigration took place under British Mandate.
  • A tour of Haifa
  • Drive to Tiberias – Visit the Tomb of Maimonides and exploring his philosophy.
  • Boat ride on the Sea of Galilee (Kinneret), the lowest freshwater lake on Earth.
  • Prayer at Magdala at the remains of one of the most ancient synagogues excavated.

Day 5 | Nov 10: Galilee

  • Visit the ancient synagogue in Capernaum – the most mentioned town in the New Testament.
  • Drive to the Golan Heights. Kibbutz Merom Golan Observation over Qunaitra, Syria.
  • Visit Tzfat – the center of Kabbalah, Jewish mysticism.
  • Visit and pray at the Ari Hakadosh and Yosef Caro Synagogues.
  • Explore the artists’ colony and meet a Kabbalist artist.

Day 6 | Nov 11: On the Way to Jerusalem

  • Visit Bet She’an the magnificent Roman city remains.
  • Drive South to Jerusalem through the Jordan Valley to Mt. Scopus and recite Psalms.
  • Western Wall (Kotel) before sundown to participate in a joyful Kabbalat Shabbat.
  • Festive Shabbat Dinner at the hotel in Jerusalem.

Day 7 | Nov 12: Shabbat in Jerusalem

  • Services at the Conservative synagogue and the Orthodox Great Synagogue near the hotel.
  • Walking tour of Jerusalem: Rehavia neighborhood, where the Prime Minister and President of Israel reside.
  • Walk through the Old City.
  • Dinner on your own in Jerusalem.

Day 8 | Nov 13: Old Jerusalem Inside the Walls

  • Visit the Temple Mount, the site of both ancient Jewish temples. A holy site to both Jews and Muslims.
  • Visit the City of David where over 3000 years ago, King David established the capital of Israel.
  • Hezekiah’s Tunnel, and Underground Tunnel to Kotel.
  • Walk through the Arab Market and Via Dolorosa, ending at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.

Day 9 | Nov 14: Greater Jerusalem

  • Visit the Israel Museum, Holyland Model, and the Shrine of the Book.
  • View of the Israeli Parliament and explaining recent election.
  • Lunch on your own in Ein Karem.
  • Visit Mount Herzl and Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum.

Day 10 | Nov 15: From the Dead Sea to the Red Sea

  • Drive to Qasr Al-Yahud, where the Israelites crossed the Jordan River, The Prophet Elijah was ascended to heaven, and the Baptismal site of Jesus.
  • Tour at Kumran and continue south to Masada, where many Israeli soldiers are sworn.
  • Floating in the Dead Sea, the lowest and saltiest spot in the world.
  • Drive to Eilat, on the south tip of Israel and the Red Sea.

Day 11 | Nov 16: Eilat

  • Enjoy a free relaxing day at the hotel or explore Eilat at your own leisure.
  • On your own, choose an excursion trip or go snorkeling in exceptional underwater world of Eilat.

Day 12 | Nov 17: Journey “From Egypt to Rehoboth”

  • Drive through Ramon Crater, the unique and magical world’s largest erosion crater in the Negev Desert.
  • Last stop is Rehoboth, Rabbi Gadi’s hometown.
  • Visit the Weizmann Institute/high tech company
  • Underground Weapon factory.
  • Visit the Jewish Yemenite Heritage Center
  • Farewell dinner
