Be part of the creation of a timely documentary about the indigenousness of the Jewish people to the Middle East in general and the land of Israel in particular. It will feature Rabbi Gadi Capela’s family from Yemen and Jews from other Arab countries.

Based on Rabbi Gadi’s experience as a graduate student at

Columbia University this past year, we hope to dispel the notion that Jews are foreign colonialists.

This documentary is part of the larger work of Project-Genesis, related to its efforts in promoting peace in the Middle East through interfaith education and pilgrimages to the Holy Land. In the past few years, we have also presented our Peace Proposal, which focuses on the religious nature of the conflict in the region.

We are currently recording the first part of the film at The Yemenite Heritage Museum in Rabbi Gadi’s hometown of Rehoboth, Israel.

Guest speaker:

Director Yaniv Rokah, known for his award-winning documentary, Queen Mimi.  He will be speaking about his vision of creating our documentary film in these difficult times. For more information about his work, visit https://www.masmasproductions.com.
