FINAL DISCUSSION ON THE GOSPEL OF MARK

CHAPTER 16: 1-20

The Romans have killed Jesus and Joseph of Arimathea has buried him. Early Sunday morning the women come to anoint the body and find an empty tomb. Our discussion will center on the narration until verse 8 when the Gospel suddenly ends. Or does it? We are then confronted by a second longer ending added later. Why? Finally, we will give a short summary of this first of the Gospels.
