DESCRIPTION:Please join us for an exciting Project-Genesis Fundraiser in Westhampton! \nSunday\, September 22\, 2024\, 2:00-5:00 PM \nCatered (kosher) and hosted at the home of Beverly and Ken Gelb \n34 Brushy Neck Lane\, Westhampton\, NY 11977 \nBring your bathing suit or tennis racket if you’d like! \nBe part of the creation of a timely documentary about the indigenousness of the Jewish people to the Middle East in general and the land of Israel in particular. It will feature Rabbi Gadi Capela’s family from Yemen and Jews from other Arab countries. \nBased on Rabbi Gadi’s experience as a graduate student at \nColumbia University this past year\, we hope to dispel the notion that Jews are foreign colonialists. \n\nThis documentary is part of the larger work of Project-Genesis\, related to its efforts in promoting peace in the Middle East through interfaith education and pilgrimages to the Holy Land.
