We arrived in Jerusalem and made the pilgrimage to the Holy Sepulcher where we celebrated a mass in the Crusader Chapel and then to the Western Wall.
We were able to join the “lock-in“ in the Holy Sepulcher last night. So some of our group spent hours in prayer and reflection during the night alone in the Holy Sepulcher. This church encompasses Calvary and the Tomb of Christ. On Sunday we made our way to the Temple Mount where we saw the Dome of the Rock, where the Jewish Temple once stood. Then we walked to the Cenacle on Mt Zion (the site of the Last Supper) to celebrate the mass of Corpus Christi! Who could plan this?
