Father Roy Tvrdik leads parishioners and friends of Our Lady of Ostrabrama RC church in lessons and discussions on the history of the Catholic Church. This week Father Roy picks up the lesson on the English Reformation in “The History of the Church, A Complete Course”. We learn more about King Henry VIII and his request to the Vatican for an annulment from Catherine of Aragon and marriage to Anne Boleyn. We also learn about the three Thomas’: Thomas Cranmer, Thomas Cromwell, and St. Thomas More and their role in the history surrounding King Henry VIII and the English Reformation. We also touch on St. John Fisher.
